Tour of The Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC)
Join us in touring the TMIC, which works on cutting-edge metabolomic studies for clinical trials research, biomedical studies, bioproducts studies, nutrient profiling, and environmental testing.
The social (opening) mixer will be held on May 2nd at 6 pm. Come meet WCUCC committee members, attendees, select plenary speakers, and faculty members of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta for some drinks, snacks and an evening of enjoyment.
Gala night will be held on May 3rd at 7 pm at Dinwoodie Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Students' Union Building at the University of Alberta. Join us for some motivational speeches from distinguished guests and interact with conference attendees while dressed in formal attire.
Note that the dress code for this event is semi-formal/business attire.
Chemistry Students' Association Barbeque
The barbeque will be hosted by members of the CSA, in collaboration with the Chemistry Graduate Students' Society (CGSS), on May 5, starting at around 11:30 am. Come join us for free food and drinks. An ice cream truck will be on site serving ice cream, sold at a nominal price.
